East Ardsley Primary (The Bridge) - 6 to 11 years old

The Bridge is a Resource Provision for children in school Years 2 – 6 with a primary need of language and communication. Children will split their time between mainstream classes and the Bridge provision base.

The Bridge offers learning and development through play, with a focus on language and communication development. The skills built in The Bridge allow children to access mainstream for regular, short periods of time in appropriate subjects. Our RP model requires that children can access the mainstream environment (with appropriate adaptation but without a constant 1:1) and that this time is purposeful and beneficial.
