Junior Rugby Disability Sessions

Leeds Rhinos Foundation runs free weekly sports sessions for children and young people under 16. These sessions are fun, inclusive, and adapted for different needs.

Physical Disability Rugby League

  • When: Mondays, 5:30–6:30pm
  • Where: Bartercard Training Ground, Kirkstall, LS5 3BW
  • Who for: Children under 16 with physical disabilities or visual impairment
  • What: Learn rugby league skills in a safe, adapted format
  • Bring: Water and comfortable clothes (plastic studs only)

Wheelchair Sports

  • When: Thursdays, 6:00–7:00pm
  • Where: Arena 2, Leeds Beckett University Sports Centre, LS16 5LF
  • Who for: Children under 16 who want to try wheelchair sports
  • What: Wheelchair Rugby League, basketball, and multi-sport games
  • Bring: Water and comfortable clothes (chairs and equipment provided)

Learning Disability Rugby League

  • When: Wednesdays, 5:30–6:15pm
  • Where: Fulneck School, Pudsey, LS28 8DS
  • Who for: Children under 16 with learning disabilities or SEND
  • What: Non-competitive, tag-based rugby sessions led by experienced staff
  • Bring: Water and comfortable clothes
