Facilitating a group

The course is intended to be delivered in a facilitated group of peers. It builds on the "Family Leadership Program" a pilot course delivered by professionals across education, health and care to parents of young people with SEND. Parents found the opportunity to network with their peers and ask questions particularly helpful. Ideally, the five module course will run over a number of weeks.

Self studying

This course can be completed as self study. If you are using the resources on your own:

  1. Download the PowerPoint presentation and read through the slides
  2. Watch the video when you are prompted

You will be asked to complete a journal task in each session.
