Keys ALFA

ALFA provides personalised education for young people who find school difficult.

The service focuses on each young person as an individual. Staff take time to understand each learner’s needs and interests. Learning is planned to support both education and personal growth.

ALFA offers flexible learning sessions. These can be:

  • short sessions, such as one hour a day
  • longer sessions, up to a full day

The amount of learning depends on the young person’s needs and goals.

Each learner has a personal learning programme. This can include:

  • English Language and Literature
  • functional skills
  • personal and social learning

The aim is to help young people build confidence, develop skills, and make progress in a way that works for them.
