Sunbeam Education

This service offers one‑to‑one tutoring and coaching for children and young people with special educational needs (SEN).

Tutors and coaches are carefully chosen for their kindness, understanding, and experience. Only a small number of people are selected, following a full interview process.

Before lessons begin, the service takes time to learn about each child. Sessions are then planned to meet the child’s needs and help them feel comfortable and confident.

Sessions can be booked using a simple booking system. Regular time slots can be set up to help reduce worry and support routine and engagement.

The service also supports families with advice about Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and Education Other Than at School (EOTAS). Educational Psychologists are available to help gather evidence needed for applications.
