Sense
Sense’s free Connect and Play service supports families with children who have complex disabilities, including deafblindness.
The service gives families a safe space to come together, communicate, and build connections with others through play.
Play is not only fun – it is an important part of a child’s development.
It helps children learn communication skills, grow in confidence, and feel connected to the people around them.
Sense’s trained play leaders run targeted support programmes, drop‑in groups, and holiday sessions.
These sessions use a range of play‑based activities designed to help each child develop skills in a way that suits their needs.
