North & West Yorkshire ASBAH

North & West Yorkshire ASBAH is a charity that supports children, adults, and families who live with Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus.
ASBAH stands for Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus.

The charity helps reduce the loneliness and isolation that people may feel when living with a disability.
They bring people together through peer‑supported activities and offer 1:1 support, such as welfare and befriending calls.
Their aim is to help people build confidence, improve wellbeing, share experiences, and feel part of a community.

North & West Yorkshire ASBAH also runs activities to help people stay active, connect with others, and enjoy new experiences.
These include bowling, theatre trips, outdoor pursuits, and activities that support both mental and physical health.
