Acorn Houses

Acorn Houses is a respite home for adults with learning disabilities, autism, or other vulnerabilities.
It gives carers a safe and trusted place where their loved ones can stay for short breaks.

The house has six large bedrooms, each with a private ensuite bathroom.
There is a big shared space where adults can take part in fun and meaningful activities.
Acorn Houses also has a large enclosed garden for people to enjoy outdoor time safely.

The vision for Acorn Houses comes from the founders’ own experience as parents.
They want carers to feel reassured and confident that their family member is cared for with respect and kindness.

Acorn Houses is based in Huddersfield.
