1Voice - Communicating Together
1Voice wants “a world where the voice of every child and adult, however they communicate, is listened to and heard.”
1Voice organises social opportunities for children, young people, and adults who use AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).
They help families and AAC users become part of a supportive community by offering regional, national, and online events.
1Voice brings AAC users together so they can meet positive role models, make friends, and learn from others on similar communication journeys.
Many members also have additional needs because of conditions such as cerebral palsy or stroke, and some use wheelchairs or other mobility aids.
The charity supports AAC users, their families, personal assistants, and supporters to connect, share experiences, and inspire each other.
