Health for All, activities for adults with learning disabilities (Adults)

The Bridge is a day service for adults with learning disabilities. It is based at Holbeck Community Centre and provides a friendly and welcoming place to meet others and take part in activities.

The service is open Monday to Friday, from 9am to 3pm, for most of the year.

People who attend can enjoy a range of activities that support health, wellbeing, and friendships. These include:

  • Sports and physical activities, such as boccia, tag rugby, football, cricket, table tennis, and walking.
  • Arts and creative activities, including pottery, painting, crafts, music, and dance.
  • Opportunities to learn new skills and try new experiences.
  • Activities that help people stay active, build confidence, and connect with others.

The Bridge aims to help people make friends, feel included in their community, and support their physical and mental wellbeing. It also encourages healthy lifestyles and celebrates each person's strengths, interests, and creativity.
