Specialist Settings

Specialist settings in Leeds.

SILCs (Specialist Inclusive Learning Centres) and special schools are for children who require more support than can normally be provided in mainstream schools.

SILCs are highly skilled, trained and experienced in meeting the needs of children with a vast range of complex special educational needs.

Some special schools have specialisms as listed below.

Some schools have more than one school site.

When you make a preference for a special school, the school will decide which site is the best to meet your child’s needs.

You cannot make a specific preference for individual ‘sites’.
