Broomfield (South SILC) – 16 to 19 years old

The Future Steps Hub is a permanent Post 16 provision for all of Leeds catering for up to 80 students with EHCPs.  Admissions are by consultation only, through SENSAP. 

The Future Steps Hub caters for learners who are ready for the next step in developing their independence in a college-based setting. 

The curriculum is based around Preparation for Adulthood and focused on securing skills to move into employment, further study, voluntary work or community-based provision.

The move to The Future Steps Hub has created opportunities for the learners to that were otherwise unavailable such as, links to local businesses, access to independent transport and being visible in a learning and business community.

Learners who still require provision within the main school setting such as for health, regulation or communication are based at the Main Site (LS10 3JP)
