Lotus Links
Lotus Links is a volunteer‑led peer support group for parent and carers of SEND children who show violent or distressed behaviour.
What the group offers
Lotus Links provides:
- emotional support in a safe, non‑judgemental space
- chances for parent and carers to connect with others
- a sense of community
- shared experiences and peer support
- occasional events with guest speakers and trainers
The group is led by a fully qualified counsellor who also has lived experience.
When sessions run
Lotus Links offers:
- a weekly peer support group for members (term‑time only)
- a monthly drop‑in session (term‑time only)
The drop‑in is open to any parent or carer supporting a child with violent or distressed behaviour.
