Assistance Dogs UK
Assistance Dogs UK is a coalition of 14 assistance dog member charities. ADUK does not train or provide dogs as this is done by our members. All ADUK member trained dogs adhere to the highest training and welfare standards as set out by Assistance Dogs International and the International Guide Dogs Federation.
Assistance dogs are dogs that have been highly trained to carry out a range of tasks and alerts that support a disabled person or person with a long-term medical condition. Not all assistance dogs in the UK have been trained by an ADUK member.
Disability: Members work with people with a wide range of health conditions (including mental health) and physical impairments.
Age: Children and adults (depending on the member)
