Information for parents and carers
I am a parent or carer of a child or young person attending a Leeds setting.
Welcome to the Parent Carer Homepage for Inclusive Mainstream Practice
This page is here to support parents and carers of children and young people with SEND and additional needs attending a mainstream setting.
We’re excited to share that we launched our Leeds Inclusive Mainstream Practice (IMP) Guidance to schools in the Autumn term. Schools and settings are now exploring the guidance and thinking about how they will use it.
Our official launch dates for parents and carers is Monday 23rd February 10-12:30pm at Pudsey Civic Hall, Leeds, LS28 5TA. We will be hosting a workshop to introduce the guidance and share what this means for parents and carers. Parents and carers can sign up for this event https://surveys.leeds.gov.uk/s/PCFEvent/
During the workshop you will have the opportunity to provide feedback to make sure this page includes the information that matters most to you. Our aim is to get it right, and we truly appreciate your patience as we build this together.
We look forward to seeing you all there!
